I'm new to the blogging scene so please be patient with me!
My goal here is to let everyone know about my Primitive Crafting Business from the beginning. I'd love to get ideas and help along the way to make it as successful as possible.
The purpose of my business is to first, create treasures from as much recycled materials as possible. I love going to our local wrecking and recycling business (or junkyard as most would call it), to find items that can be refinished or repurposed. I've also been known to pick up "treasures" from streetside much to the embarassment of my children. I'm no longer embarassed to do that because the way I see it it keeps things out of the landfill!
Secondly, while fulfilling creativity and my passion for crafting, I want to offer others the possibility of owning pieces that may have an interesting history and/or have been recycled. While not all my treasures are recycled it is possible that the wood used to make them, are. You get the point.
Finally, let's be honest, if someone can earn a living doing what they love then I say, "go for it"! ~ Which is exactly what I'm trying to do.
